Got this today in two different accounts. Emailed the people who sent it to me so they can take remedial action. Be aware another one going around is from IQ Elite that takes you through a "personality test" then asks you to sign onto your email account.

Thanks! I was immediately suspicious when asked for my password so I googled and found this site. It was awful when facebook used my address book ( let's not forget that just because of facebook's popularity). That then enabled someone to start sending me lesbian solicitations from multiple untraceable, unstoppable sources.

I also realized that my 1st post didn't go through - This invite definitely puts up red flags.

I received the invite from a very happily married good friend in his 40's and I'm a happily married woman in my 60's...RF #1

They also ask you for your email and logon password up front, as well as personal info

Thanks for the information. I just got the email yesterday (9/5/2011) from someone I am not friends with ... an aunt of my husband! I had never heard of JHoos so I googled it and the firste site I hit was yours. Needless to say ... I won't be accepting the invite!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I also got that invitation from a friend. I was in a hurry to go to a lecture. Anyway I accepted the invitation AND my e-mail address and password and guess what??? it sent invitations to my lecturers also!!!I wish I had seen this before. Anyway thanks Allen.

I wish I had seen this before I opened the one I got. I accepted the "invitation" from a friend, and it wanted confirmation of my email address AND password. I thought it was part of yahoo, so I did it and then it sent the same stupid thing out to everyone in my address book. I am LIVID!!! Can you tell me how much personal info they are able to steal from you if you opened it?
