The New Healthier Me!

New Years Day I again quit smoking. Yeah I know in the past I have said I quit, but I would quit for a few hours and then start right back up. But not this time. This time I got help, from my boss of all people. She let me barrow her electric cigarette. See video for more:

You smoke it like a real cigarette, but it puts water vapors in your lungs instead of chemicals that you get from real cigarettes. I have enjoyed this so much that I bought one for myself.

In the past I tried to quit with:

the patch - (really bad dreams)
cold turkey - (drove me nuts)
the pill - (I hate taking pills - so I would forget and then have cravings)

The awesome thing about this is, I still can hang around my friends that smokes cause I dont feel left out, I still feel like I am smoking, and I dont get those nasty cravings.

Tomorrow is my birthday, and it will be 10 days of not smoking a cigarette. This is the longest I have ever went in the past 20 years that I had been smoking.

I knew that the smell of smoke was nasty, but I really did not know how bad it really smelt. I did not drive my car a week before I quit smoking and a week after I quit smoking. Let me tell you I gagged when I got into it. I gagged all the way to work. It stunk. I had to buy some Fa-breeze I sprayed it down and then did it again. I need to give it a really good bath inside and out.

My life is looking up now. I have a new position at work, I am not smoking, I am going to start going to the gym to work out and I talked to a guy that started a softball team and he asked me to join the team. I am considering it.

Praise God! Quitting smoking is REALLY difficult. It took me about half a dozen times to do that over 30 years ago. You will feel so much better. I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke now either. It just about gags me!
I am thankful you are having a lot of positive things happen to you right now.
