Back in January, I had a Birthday. Duane sent this picture to me. He drew it free hand. I thought it was real nice of him.
Here is his letter that he sent with it:
Allen,
I didn't have a chance to get you a real card. So I hope you will except the one I made for you. Hope you have a great day.
Duane
I cannot remember the last time, someone made me a card and sent it to me. I like how he put the balloons in Gay colors. I really had a huge smile on my face. It was really sweet of him to do this. I was so happy with this picture, I went and had it laminated.

Well Happy Belated Birthday. I hope you did something wonderful for yourself!
HBB! I love handmade cards! I have made a lot myself, but only received a few... mostly from the kids. I think it means more when someone takes the time to create something special just for you.
That sounds like something I would do! What a great keepsake you now have!
I once got such a beautiful home made card that was done called "paper cut outs" I believe. It had hundreds if not thousands of tiny cut outs, almost like pixels that formed this elaborate angel. I had that card framed at Michael's! I still treasure it to this day.
And at Christmas I got a bunch of cards, but one was so special, because it was hand made. I kept it and told my cousin that sent it how special it was and that it was my favorite!
Those kinds of cards are the best kind, because you know that person stopped and took the time to think of you and make it for you. And Happy Belated Birthday LOL!
Awww, this was really cool.
cute..I love homemade cards!! They are much more special!!!!
