Betty Crocker Rainbow Chocolate Candy cookie mix

Betty Crocker RAINBOW chocolate candy cookie mix.
Homemade Cookies in 20 Minutes!

Well I was back in the kitchen tonight. I wanted something sweet to eat, so I went to my shelf and saw this:

I followed the directions. Pretty simple; Heat oven, mix butter and egg and stir in cookie mix.

That did not take long at all, I made the batch of cookies, but for the life of me, I did not read the bottom of the package. It makes 3 dozen cookies. I was wondering why I was running out of room on the cookie sheet. But it did not matter, I got all the cookie dough on one cookie sheet. Yeah they are huge cookies, and it takes a bit longer to cook this way, but they are good size cookies.

The cookies on the package vs my cookies, for some reason they dont look alike. Their Rainbow cookies looks cool. Like something you would want to display. As you can see mine doesnt look that way.

I cooked them at the time it said on the back of the package. 11-13 minutes. It took more like 20-25 minutes to bake them. So this project took more like 35-40 minutes.

Dont you just love the smell of cookies baking. Funny how you can draw people out of their rooms by baking. Kevin and Michael came to the kitchen and said how nice the aroma was.

I let them cool and served them up. It hit the spot, I am happy with the product. It was Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy.
