Right after he left, the manager for Hot Shots Sports Bar walks in. He wanted posters made. I asked when he wanted them done by. He said "tonight". I told him that it would not be a problem. I would see what I could do. When I was done with his order, I called him and told him his order was ready. The manager told me to stop by sometime and he would take care of me. I just cannot imagine that I would go to a straight bar, but who knows.
I am always surprised of all the walks of life that I meet at Staples. I have met Millionaires, Police men, (one that hit on me) Fire men, Chefs, Presidents of companies, Vice- presidents, and so on.
Have a great day,
Allen

It's okay to go to a straight bar. You wait on straight customers at Staples - - right? Just remember that you are only building a casual friendship. Evidently both groups really appreciated your work and attitude. That speaks well for you and Staples.
I really like shopping at Staples but can only go in with blinders on for the items on my list - - - otherwise I come home with more pens and Post-Its than I can use before the ink and/or glue dries out!
I wanna work at Staples!! I wonder if I'd have the same luck!! LOL!!
Hey, all that speaks much more about you as a person than Staples as an institute. You, my dear, are clearly a sweet and inviting person, making people feel welcome and appreciative. Great job!
I agree with misslynda - you can go to a straight bar and meet friends.
Working with the public causes you to meet all walks of life.
Allen, I agree with Howard. You meeting so many interesting people has to do with your disarming demeanor and sweet disposition. You are easy to like, thus people like you. :)
Miss Lynda, I understand what you are saying. I have to be careful when I buy there. I tend to buy more than what I need.
Joann, Apply online. I am sure they would hire you. =o)
Howard, Thanks, sometimes it trying. But I still try to be nice to all.
Pat, I will try to go. I think it would be good for me. =o)
Kyle, I try. =o)
