I went with Kevin and Michale to a new tennis court today. It was very hot out. Kevin and Michale found a new place to play, the courts are lighted and kept up. I say it was up in the 90's. The humidity was way up there. We expected rain, but I never saw any.
While I was watching I decided to walk around a bit, something moved in the grass, and this is what I saw. It was a very large Lizard. This is not the picture of it, I found this on the internet. But it looks just like it. When I dont take my camera, I miss things, I take my camera and nothing shows up. (go figure)
I thought I would take a closer look at this (cat size) thing walking around. I think I got a bit to close for it, cause all those needles on his back raised up. I moved back. I found another one after that, in the same area. I thought it was cool.

Work was a bit nuts tonight. I had, one person waiting for a color print job to finish, one waiting for the b&w job to finish, I had one making business cards, one wanting to ship with our UPS station, 3 in the self serve area asking questions, 2 people in line for the fax machine, and three guys waiting for me to finish their order that they started with Mr. Bronks. All of this was going on at the same time.
I had it pretty much under control, until one of the guys came back from a binding job that went wrong. I had to redo it, I finally called management over to help out. He did and things started going smooth again. It was a hectic 3 hours.
Have a great day all,
Allen

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I hate lizards, and that one looke very big....u r brave, I would have ran...lol
That lizard is too big for me to want to encounter. Do you think it gets bigger than that? It looks like it has ripping teeth - - carnivorous!!!
Work does sound very busy. Does that mean you don't have time to print my Christmas letter? Do you address and attach postage, too? ha ha You sound like you handled it well.
Very cute. Sounds like someone has been releasing their unwanted reptile pets. That is a huge issue in FL.
Hi, Allen! You have an award to pick up on my blog! :)
Hope you're well!
Peace, love and happiness,

Leaping Lizards! What kind is that? It's frickin' big I tell ya! I would have peed myself if I saw that thing!
I saw a Gila monster walking down the path at an arboretum last spring. That thing was huge; about 15 inches long. Those are poisonous and will bite if provoked.
Keep smiling at work!
