I am PISSED OFF

This morning, I got up in a pretty good mood. I got dressed for work and headed out the door like normal. I walked over to my car to see this:

Someone completely dismantled my dash board, and stole my CB and what I thought was my Radio too.

I found out later, that my radio was still there, I always take the face plate off.

They scratched up my door in their efforts to remove the CB.

Before you ask, NO I did not call the police, I was late for work and still in my 90 day probation period. And really what would a cop do for me anyways? I did not have the serial numbers to give them, nor will I turn it into my insurance. So what is the point of calling them.

I did however go to the office to let them know, that it was broken into. I figured they needed to know and to let the security know they are a sucky company. I told the office, that I was more angry at security company than anyone.

ugh,
Allen

I'd be pissed off too! Sorry that happened to you. I know that when you are vandalized and ripped off like that, you feel so violated! It really can get to you, if you let it. Hang in there, and I hope the person that did it gets caught and punished!

Awww Allen, I'm sorry. I would be so furious, but you are right. What can you do about it? Not much. However, I think you should at least file a police report. If nothing else it will give them better statistics regarding the true crime rate in your neighborhood.

So sorry, Allen. You're right-the cops can't do anything anyways.

Well, that isn't a great way to start the day. Allen, I'm not surprised you are furious, I would be too. The police can't do anything, but I would still file the report, so it is on record as happening. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Hang in there and don't let this ruin your whole day.

What kind of a bone head breaks into a car to steal an outdated cb radio???I am sorry that this happened to you Allen. It was probably someone who lives very close to you and sees when you leave and come back.Maybe even someone who has been in your car before! I know it's not Kevin or Michael but perhaps someone you have given a ride that was expecting the radio to have it's face on.I am sorry friend and hope that this doesn't happen again but keep your eyes peeled.your friend always Keith

Ugh! I'm sorry to hear that happened to you ... all I can say beyond what I did... is been there, had that done to me!

Crime is on the rise these days (my home has been hot by vandals and thieves five times in the last 18 months( and it's gonna get worse until this trash economy improves.

Best of luck that it does happen again!

Oh Allen, so sorry to hear about this! It makes you wonder about some people, doesn't it? My niece was in downtown Chicago with her 3 kids to take a Christmas picture in Millenium park. She threw her purse up on her car, got the stroller out, got the kids settled, etc. Then she and her friend and kids went to the park. She realized an hour later that she had left her purse on top of the car. Of course when they got back, it had been stolen. She had an IPhone and it can be tracked, so they did that, so exactly where it was going. They sent a text to her phone and said, "You stole the purse of a pregnant woman with three young kids. She is stuck in underground parking because her ticket is in the purse. Take all the money but please don't take the credit cards or purse. Leave the purse somewhere." They got a text back saying, "I'll leave the purse somewhere." Long story short, a receptionist at a hospital quite a distance away called my niece to say that her purse was found in front of the emergency room. They arrived at the hospital and my niece recovered her purse - everything was in tact except the $200 was gone.
