Micheal said: "You know everyone"

Micheal, Kevin and I went to Wal-Mart today, and did you know as soon as we walked into the door I saw Kenny. I said hi Kenny! He just looked at me. Like he did not know me. Then he said "oh my God Allen your hair is so long".

Kenny and I met years ago. I was working for the Indiana State Capital Security Police Department at the time. His mom and I became good friends, we were both officers on the third shift, working in the State House. We spent many hours talking about our families.

As Kenny and I was catching up on old times, Kevin and Micheal went ahead shopping. As soon as I caught up with them, there stood Joanna. Joanna was my ex-wife sister. She said "oh my god look at your long hair" We stood there and caught up on old times too.

When I finally caught back up with the guys, Micheal turns to me and said "You know everyone dont you?" I have told Micheal that I never meet a stranger. He said well that is true.

Once we got back home, the phone was ringing. I answered and it was my sister, she said unlock the door I am here. I went back out to the door and there she stood with A.C. We watched a movie. Well it was two movies in one. I think it was made for T.V.

I'm the same way. I've been told I can get on an elevator on the fifth floor and know everyone's life story by the time I get to the first. Too funny!

@ Jeanette, I totally understand what you are saying!

It used to be that way for me when we lived in our small town for 18 years. Now that we're on the road? Not so much! LOL! We do make friends when we stay for any length of time at places, and of course, when we winter in AZ for 4-5 months. And, I can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Used to drive my kids crazy!

Especially at Walmart you are likely to run in to somebody you know! It always happens, especially if you have little time to spare. So I go at midnight, and guess what--I still run in to people I know! I guess if you ever get lonely just go to Walmart! Have a great holiday weekend!

@ John, In this day and age, you tend to shop more at Wal-Mart. Simply because its cheaper.
