The house phone service was taken out. To be honest, it is much cheaper to have just a cell phone. The phone company wanted $30.00 a month, plus the extras, like caller ID, long distant and voice mail.
It cost me $8.33 a month for a cell phone and I get voice mail, long distant, and caller id. I do have a low amount of minutes though, I get 33 minutes a month. The ones that know me, know that I don't like phones. So this plan was perfect for me.
