A Day With Darrel

The door bell rings, I run to the door. Sure enough he was standing in front of me. I opened the door and let him in. It was freezing out so we hurried into the house. Once inside we hugged. I was so happy to see him.

He follows me to my room. I show him my desk that is 4' off the floor. He said that is cool.

We headed to the front living room. We set up the pool table and started playing and talking. I found out that his brother was not doing well, because of cancer. His brother is a couple of years younger than Darrel. The rest of the family is doing ok.

He told me that he is now enrolled in college. I can remember when he got his G.E.D.. How proud of him I was. Now he is going to college. Go Darrel!! I have known Darrel for over 5 years now.
Darrel told me that he is going to church now and is even singing in the choir.

Leo and I meet
Darrel brought his dog named Leo. Leo is a sweet dog, and is well behaved. I patted Darrel's chest, and Leo started barking and growling. If you look at him in the face he looks like Scrappy Doo.
